Great Intro to ITIL v3, August 12, By C. S. Young

This certification kit is a great, understandable introduction to what could be a very complicated, confusing subject. The Art of Service helps to clarify the various functions and processes within ITIL® v3. In addition, I found that the other resources, including the Online training, as well as a wealth of other podcasts and white papers on their web site very useful to geting up to speed quickly on this subject.

Well written, easy reading. The online aspects are a great complement to the book. If you read the book and go thru online material, you will pass the exam without any issues.For those of us who were looking to get a better understanding of V3 (and not just exam), I wish the book had more in depth coverage.

This book was excellent and completly aided in my passing of the actual exam. The online prep exam was great and provided the right atmosphere. I had taken an online course through Mindleaders but it was not that good and was just hung up on bullet points. If it had been structured more like this book it would have been much better. If you’re looking to pass the ITIL® 3 Foundation, look no further. It includes real life examples and suggestions for when you actually may need to develop a service on your own.
