| ITIL® user groups is another topic that is often discussed in forums on the net such as where to find them? Well I can quote a number of places to look for ITIL® user groups but the one I mainly come back to as being the most relevant is the itSMF.
ITIL® user groups – itSMF itSMF stands for the IT Service Management Forum. itSMF was founded in England in 1992.
It is supplier and product independent world-wide association, whose members maintain and promote the exchange of experience between IT service providers.
In particular, this applies to the improvement and further development of the de-facto standard ITIL® as well as the cooperation in designing the basis for the professional training in the area of IT service management.
ItSMF closely co-operates with international organizations such as OGC, British standard institution (BSI), ISEB and EXIN.
