There are ITIL Tests
in 3 categories. ITIL tests for Foundations, Practitioner and
Managers level certification have been on offer for a considerable
amount of time.
ITIL Tests are
independently set and marked, by one of two testing bodies. The two
ITIL Test organizations are ISEB and EXIN.
Both work together to
have a common standard of ITIL tests.
ITIL test –
Foundations, 1 hour, 40 question, multiple
choice
ITIL test –
Practitioner, 2 hours, 40 questions, multiple
choice
ITIL test – Managers,
Two exams, each of 3 hours, 5 questions, open, and essay
style.
Interestingly, the
ITIL Test – Foundations is currently available via Prometric test
centres.
