ITIL Certification Salary : I bought this book because I wanted the highest rated and concise study book to prepare for the ITIL Intermediate Service Strategy exam.

Some study books promise that you will pass if you read their book and then it is 2000 pages.

So yeah you’ll pass you just need to waste a year of your life on their book.

I also wanted to just have one source in addition to the best practices.

This book looked more my style.

So I wanted to optimize the use of my time and money.

I read the book (skimmed some chapters) took all the quizzes and also took the test at the end of the book.

I then reviewed all the questions I got wrong to make sure I understood the material.

My only previous exposure to ITIL Intermediate Service Strategy material was the 35 hr class on other (which only took about 14 hours).

I also took the free practice test on management study (reviewing all wrong answers as well).

I took the exam on Saturday and finished in 3 hours.

It definitely takes some focus since there are 200 questions and some I had to read 4 times to understand what they were really asking.

I passed and was rated moderately proficient in everything except a proficient in managing and controlling.

Overall I would recommend the book.

It helped me pass with no gold plating :) Does what it says – passed on first try!
