ITIL user groups is
another topic that is often discussed in forums on the net such as
where to find them? Well I can quote a number of places to look for
ITIL user groups but the one I mainly come back to as being the most
relevant is the itSMF.
ITIL user groups -
itSMF
itSMF stands for the
IT Service Management Forum.
itSMF was founded in
England in 1992.
It is supplier and
product independent world-wide association, whose members maintain
and promote the exchange of experience between IT service providers.
In particular, this
applies to the improvement and further development of the de-facto
standard ITIL as well as the cooperation in designing the basis for
the professional training in the area of IT service
management.
ItSMF closely
co-operates with international organizations such as OGC, British
standard institution (BSI), ISEB and EXIN.
